Heinz Nixdorf Program 2010/2011

The Heinz Nixdorf program targets young professionals with future executive responsibility and aims to improve their Asia-Pacific-Experience. Therefore the program combines language courses with an six month internship in the prospective asian country.

Heinz Nixdorf was one of the most famous german entrepeneurs in the information technology business. He build up the largest and most successfull german computer supplier and was involved in a lot of related businesses. See Wikipedia for further details.

My time table was the following:

• Application: September 2009
• Second Application Round: October 2009
• Approval: January 2010
• Language courses in Germany: March and April 2010
• Departure to Japan: End of May 2010
• Language course in Tokyo: June + July 2010
• Internship: August 2010 - January 2011
